Zeus Network Launches Final Testnet with Over 15,000 Wallets Connected in Just 72 Hours

Zeus Network has made a groundbreaking announcement with the launch of its first dApp APOLLO, which is built on the innovative Zeus Program Library (ZPL). This launch signifies the final Testnet that integrates liquidity within the ecosystem. In a remarkable display of community engagement, over 15,000 wallets have already connected to the testnet within just 72 hours of its launch on August 8th.
The primary objective of the APOLLO testnet is to optimize the utilization of Bitcoin in the realm of DeFi on Solana. This enables the seamless conversion of Bitcoin into zBTC, a native token on the Solana network. By pioneering this initiative, Zeus Network is pushing the boundaries of decentralized finance and fostering innovation within the Solana ecosystem. Having evolved through multiple phases, the testnet initially launched with 4,000 users six months ago and has since expanded to engage over 70,000 participants across various testnets. The current and final testnet is projected to attract over 100,000 participants, indicating a surging interest and confidence in the project.
APOLLO offers users the opportunity to claim test Bitcoin (tBTC), deposit it on the platform for conversion to zBTC, and withdraw zBTC back to the Bitcoin blockchain. The testnet supports a range of wallet connections, including Muses Wallet (a dedicated Bitcoin wallet provided by Zeus Network exclusively for APOLLO Testnet), Solana Wallet, and Bitcoin Devnet Wallet. Additionally, it features key programs such as the Two-way Peg Program and zBTC Minting Program, with ongoing enhancements in liquidity management.
Alongside the testnet launch, Zeus Network has introduced the testnet point system on Galxe titled “Prophecy of Light.” Participants can earn Galxe Loyalty Points by actively engaging with the testnet, which can later be redeemed for exciting rewards on the APOLLO mainnet.
