A Unique Collaboration

A groundbreaking project known as pOpera is back for its second edition this year, led by the Fondation EME. This initiative brings together professional and non-professional talents, including refugees and locals, to co-create an opera that will culminate in a grand performance in 2026. Two performances are scheduled to take place on 11 & 12 September at the Philarmonie.

The Vision Behind pOpera

• pOpera is not just an ordinary opera performance; it is a transformative three-year project that merges talents from diverse backgrounds.
• Led by the Fondation EME and artistic director Paolo Lameiro, pOpera aims to bridge the gap between professional artists and non-professional participants, especially refugees and newcomers to Luxembourg.
