Attendees of Token 2049 in Singapore are in for a groundbreaking experience with the launch of DOTphin, an innovative NFT project created by the Sovereign Nature Initiative (SNI) in collaboration with Unique Network and WalletConnect. This project offers attendees the opportunity to collect Proof of Presence (PoP) digital avatars at the Polkadot booth (#P34 and 42) located on level 5 of the Marina Bay Sands Convention Center.
How DOTphin Works
- Attendees can collect a PoP at the Polkadot booth, unlocking stages in the avatar’s evolution.
- The avatar’s evolution is influenced by ecological data from SNI’s marine conservation partner, Aquasearch.
- Users can contribute to real-world marine conservation efforts through their interaction with the avatars.

To claim PoPs and other Proofs, users can visit the SNI website or scan QR codes encountered at events. This directs them to a simple claim process where they can log in or create an account using various methods such as email, social profiles, or digital wallets.
Evolving the DOTphin
- Users can evolve their DOTphin by visiting the REAL Evolution page on the REAL portal.
- The evolution process begins with acquiring the primordial “orbo” at the starting point.
- Collected PoPs and Proofs are utilized to shape the evolution of the avatar.
Each Proof influences the characteristics of the DOTphin, creating a personalized representation of individual engagement and achievements. The DOTphin avatar design is inspired by Japanese anime, adding a relatable and aesthetic touch to the digital companion.
