Opel Makes Way for BYD in Singapore
Exciting news in the automotive industry as Opel, the German brand, makes room for BYD, the Chinese carmaker, at Alpine Centre in Singapore. This move marks BYD’s first showroom in the eastern part of Singapore for their luxury car brand, Denza.
Continued Support for Opel Owners
- Opel owners can still visit the existing workshop at Alpine Centre for maintenance and repair.

While the Opel showroom may be relocated within the building, details are still being finalized by Alpine Group’s director, Mr. Keith Pang.

- Opel currently offers three electric passenger car models and three electric commercial vehicle models for sale.
- BYD and Denza will display a total of 10 cars in the showroom – five of each model.

- Opel was sold by General Motors to the PSA Group in 2017, leading to Alpine’s continued representation of the brand.

In 2022, Alpine partnered with BlueSG to supply 1,000 units of the Opel Corse-e for an electric vehicle-sharing service.
