Several motorists called the police on Saturday to report a striking sight on the motorway.
Around 11 AM, the police received multiple calls about a car driving on E18 in Sandvika missing a tire. The police stopped the car shortly after it was on Drengsrud in Asker.
In the car was a young man, who the police have reported for violating section 3 of the Road Traffic Act.
The man has also had his driver’s license revoked, but there is no suspicion of impairment due to drugs or alcohol, according to operations leader Guro Sandnes.
The driver admits that there was something “strange” with the car when he drove onto the motorway at Strømmen in the East police district, says Sandnes.
