Investment company Kinnevik has been experiencing a significant decline in the stock market in recent years. The B-shares have dropped by 74% in the last three years, leading some of the shareholders to become disillusioned.
The Folksam-linked funds, including Kpa Tjänstepensionsförsäkring AB, Folksam Tjänstepension AB, Folksam Ömsesidig Livförsäkring, Konsumkooperationens Pensionsstiftelse, and Folksam Ömsesidig Sakförsäkring, have all sold their holdings in Kinnevik, as per the latest data from Holdings.
Folksam held over 2% of the capital in Kinnevik, and now 5.8 million Kinnevik shares have changed hands. The value of the sale amounts to 452 million kronor.
Recently, it was also revealed that Swedbank Robur has sold 100% of its stake in the Stenbeck family’s power company. Robur’s funds had a stake of 1.1% of the capital in Kinnevik, valued at 241 million kronor.
The largest shareholders in Kinnevik are Baillie Gifford & Co from the UK, Spiltan Fonder, Luxembourg-based Verdere S.A.R.L., Norges Bank Investment Management, and Vanguard. Other funds that remain on the ownership list include Alecta Tjänstepension and Handelsbanken Fonder. Avanza Pension is also listed as a shareholder.
