Canberra to Host Two International Cricket Matches in the 2025-26 Season

In a much-anticipated summer of cricket, the 2025-26 international cricket schedule has been launched, featuring 26 matches to be played in 11 cities across Australia. This season includes the next edition of the Ashes against England, with matches scheduled in every state and territory capital for the first time in 17 years.

Canberra will be hosting two international cricket matches at Manuka Oval this summer. Both the Australian men’s and women’s teams will face India at this prestigious venue.

Australia vs. India Matches

The Men’s T20I Series against India will take place on Wednesday, 29 October 2025, at Manuka Oval. This series will feature the first-ever five-match T20I series between the two cricket powerhouses.

On Thursday, 19 February 2026, the Women’s T20I Series against India will also be held at Manuka Oval. The Australian women’s team will host a multiformat series against the rapidly emerging Indian team.

During the previous summer, cricket enthusiasts in Canberra flocked to witness international, domestic, and local matches at Manuka Oval, setting attendance records, including the highest attendance for a women’s international fixture at the venue.

International ticket pre-sales for the upcoming matches will begin on Tuesday, 3 June, for fans who have registered through Cricket Australia. General public ticket sales will commence on Friday, 13 June.
