At the close of trading, the OMXS30 index was down marginally to 2,448.97. Stocks worth around 18.0 billion Swedish kronor were traded on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

Among the leading stocks in the OMXS30 index, Electrolux saw a 1.7 percent increase while H&M was up by 1.5 percent. On the other hand, Sinch had the worst performance with a decrease of 5.6 percent, and SBB B was down by 4.0 percent.

Hygiene and health company Essity announced the appointment of Ulrika Kolsrud as the new CEO, effective June 1. This is an internal recruitment as Kolsrud previously served as the head of Essity Health & Medical. She succeeds Magnus Groth, who earlier this year informed the board of his resignation. The stock rose by 0.2 percent.

Technology trading company Bergman & Beving increased its dividend by 20 öre to 4.00 kronor for the fiscal year 2024/2025. The EBITA result for the fourth quarter was slightly lower than expected, leading to a 3.2 percent decrease in the stock price.

Mining company Lundin Gold saw a significant increase in its EBITDA result for the first quarter, rising to 241.5 million dollars from 131.5 million. The company proposed an extra dividend and reiterated its production forecasts for the full year, leading to a 9.9 percent increase in the stock price.

Medical technology company Raysearch reported higher revenues, order intake, and operating profit. The latter increased to 74.8 million kronor from 45.8 million, resulting in a 30.8 percent surge in the stock price.

On the analysis front, Handelsbanken upgraded its recommendation on Embellence to a buy from hold, but the stock was down 3.1 percent.

Pareto Securities downgraded Balder to hold from buy, leading to a 1.2 percent decrease in the stock price.

SEB upgraded Rusta to buy from hold, but the stock went down by 1.1 percent.

BNP Paribas Exane upgraded Autoliv to outperform from neutral, resulting in a 3.1 percent increase in the stock price.

Nordea upgraded Sinch to buy from hold.
